Damsons were first cultivated around Damascus and introduced to Britain by the Romans. Quite tart and are ideally suited to jam making.

Delicious spread on toast, crumpet or in the middle of muffins.

This is not available at any store near me so I was really pleased to find it here. I The jam will be a Christmas gift so I have bviously not tried it. Dispatch was rapid
